LCAnext is looking for a CTO (cofounder)

The CTO of LCAnext will be a critical member of the founding team. The CTO will oversee developing the MVP and leading software development. They must have the technical acumen to develop the MVP and create a cutting-edge parametric software design solution. In addition, they must have the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead a software development team as LCAnext grows. The CTO is expected to be a full-stack developer, with knowledge of essential programming languages like Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and experience with server-side technologies, including Node.js, React, Angular and Vue.js. In addition, they should be knowledgeable in DevOps, cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. As LCAnext is a parametric design solution, the CTO must also possess skills within developing design software, or the motivation to learn. This includes knowledge of 3D modeling, parametric optimization algorithms, Rhino and Grasshopper and the ability to visualize results using graphical software. And finally, as a member of the founding team, the CTO needs a strong vision for the product, a passion for driving innovation and strong collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with other members of the founding team.

LCAnext is looking for a CFO (cofounder)

As a core member of the founding team, the CFO must possess a unique blend of financial expertise and passion for sustainability. They should have a strong understanding of financial concepts like capital structuring, cash flow management and financial forecasting, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the software industry. The CFO should have strong analytical and technical skills, including the ability to analyze financial data and the ability to work with complex software systems. They should be experienced in software pricing and be able to identify and exploit new revenue opportunities. They should have a good understanding of accounting and be able to accurately prepare financial statements. As LCAnext grows, the CFO must be a strong leader and communicator, able to make decisions while effectively managing the growing team of finance professionals and continuing to guard the financial health of the company. Finally, the CFO needs a passion for driving innovation and strong collaboration skills so they can work closely with other members of the founding team. They should be able to effectively communicate the financial implications of decisions to the rest of the co-founding team.

LCAnext is looking for a Structural engineer (potential cofounder)

A structural engineer is one of the first roles LCAnext needs to fill, as a core functionality of the software will be around structural optimization. As such, the structural engineer needs a deep understanding of all common types of structural systems in buildings, and the differences in size, shape, price, layout and other parameters for applying those systems. They need a solid understanding of building materials and their application. The ideal candidate should have a degree in civil or structural engineering, with several years in the field. They should be familiar with all relevant standards and regulations around structural design, and have a background in computer-aided design and parametric software and optimization. They should be able to use parametric software to design and test components of building materials, as well as develop new algorithms and techniques to improve the performance of materials. In addition, they should be able to interpret complex data models and variants, and communicate the results to colleagues, clients and other stakeholders. They should also have a strong knowledge of industry trends, among others all the latest trends on sustainable building materials. They should have a passion for innovation, sustainability and developing cutting-edge tools to improve the environmental performance of building materials.
