Entrepreneurship awards

Are you an entrepreneur with an innovative idea that will transform the way we think about the built environment? This is your chance to boost your business with a grant of up to 30.000 euros!

How can I join?

On Thursday November 16th, BK-Launch hosts the Entrepreneurship Awards 2023 at the faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, powered by the Capriole Foundation. Next to announcing the grantees of the BK-Launch Start-up Voucher, we will also announce the second edition of the Entrepreneurship Awards: promising and innovative start-ups who will receive vouchers up to 25.000 euros to continue their entrepreneurial journey. The awards are divided into three categories: concept stage, scale-up and R&D support. This means the awards are open to both younger start-ups and more developed enterprises!
The call is open to students, and recent graduates from a Dutch University or University of Applied Science with a great entrepreneurial idea or project relevant to the built environment. The ambitious participants will be selected based on their proposal’s innovativeness and societal impact.
The application is open until October 22nd and you can find it below. You will be notified of the status of your application soon after that. The grantees will be announced during the Entrepreneurship Awards on November the 16th at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment.

The Capriole Foundations will grant enterprises from all three stages with a monetary prize. These grants will go up to 25.000 euros, depending on their innovativeness, societal impact and stage. We will ask our applicants to attach a financial plan when they sign up (see form below) for the Entrepreneurship Awards, on which the granted amount will also be based. Once the winning enterprises are granted with their award, there are no further requirements on how to spend the grant. This means the entrepreneurs can both present a specific goal, as well as a much more general purpose for the use of the voucher.
